During a routine visit to a small village in Turkey, veterinarian Ogün Öztürk encountered an unexpected and heartwarming sight.
Just as he was about to leave, he noticed a young girl, 8-year-old Cemre Su Türköz, braving the thick snow, carrying her sick dog, Pamuk, on her back.

Realizing a vet was nearby, the determined Cemre had journeyed over a mile to seek help for her beloved pet.

Upon examining Pamuk, Ogün determined the dog suffered from minor skin issues – treatable and not life-threatening.
Relief washed over Cemre as Ogün treated her dog, ensuring he’d be back to his lively self soon.

Ogün, inspired by Cemre’s love and determination, has since visited the village to ensure both Cemre and Pamuk are well, promising his continued support.

Charging nothing for his services, Ogün mentioned, “Just seeing her love and devotion to Pamuk was the best payment.” He added, “Cemre showed us that the only truth in the world is love.”
