Rev Your Engines: 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Restomod

I have to tell you guys, this 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Restomod is an absolute stunner! I mean, just take a look at that laser-straight body, glossy Pepper Gray paint finish, and painted racing stripes. This car is a real showstopper and it’s easy to see why.

I gotta give it to the builder; they really paid attention to detail. Inside, the black leather interior is in pristine condition, and the front bucket seats and split rear bench seating provide a comfortable and stylish ride. And let’s not forget those 18” Aluminum American Racing Shelby wheels and side-exit dual exhaust, which add even more to the car’s overall aesthetic.

But what really gets me going is what’s under the hood. This ‘68 Mustang Fastback packs a 3rd generation Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 crate engine with MSD Pro Billet Distributor, MSD Blaster Coil, BBK Long Tube Headers, and BeCool Aluminum CrossFlow Radiator. All that power is sent to the rear tires through a Tremec 5 – Speed Manual Transmission, making for a truly exhilarating driving experience.
