When a young woman named Nur stumbled upon a severely malnourished cat in her backyard, its horrifying condition made it hard to believe that it had once been a gorgeous white fluffball.

Because of its pitiful appearance, the hapless creature was looked upon with disgust, abandoned, and rejected. Nur felt sorry for the poor animal and decided to help, unaware that the cat was actually a stunning beauty in disguise.

Beauty often hides in unexpected places and isn’t always obvious to the eyes. Sometimes a wild and dirty stray cat turns out to be a stunning and friendly pet, just like in this case!

However, when Nur found it, the cat’s condition was so dire it was painful to look at. Deeply malnourished, with its fur matted and exposed infected skin, this poor creature hardly resembled a cat at all. As Nur told Says:

“She was so pitiful to look at. Her skin was infected and wounded and she smelled very bad.”

The cat’s hideous appearance made people avert their gaze, but Nur was different. Her kind heart recognized the cat’s beautiful soul, so she decided to take her home.

The first step was to take the cat, now named Meimei, to the vet clinic where she received treatment for the severe infections she was struggling with.

However, the next step was more complex and required Nur’s commitment and hard work. Since the poor feline weighed so little and was severely malnourished, she needed a healthy and nourishing diet.

The recovery process wasn’t easy and took time, but Nur didn’t hesitate one bit. With the help of her husband, she took care of the cat, leading her through the most majestic glow-up ever!

After months of unconditional love, care, and affection, Meimei started turning into her real beautiful self. She was gaining weight and her soft white fur was growing back. Her fluffiness finally began to show!

One year later, the pitiful creature Nur found in her backyard was nothing but a memory. 

Meimei is now a stunning white beauty with the softest fur ever and the most beautiful eyes full of love. She’s a true example of how beauty needs love and attention to come to fruition.

But most importantly, it needs an open heart. As The Little Prince said: 

“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
