1970 Dodge Challenger T/A: Award Winning Mopar Survivor

Some of you probably remember this 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. We did a quick feature of this amazing Survivor while it was at Matt Gause Garage for maintenance. It was a while ago, and now we have the full story with a ride along included.

Norm Vander Veen’s T/A Challenger Story

The Cream DY3 exterior and Saddle-Tan H6T5 interior is not just a beautiful, but also a rare combination. The mighty 340 Six Pack small block powering the 1970 Dodge Challenger sounds healthy. The iconic Mopar Pistol Grip shifter is still in place.

Currently showing 63,000 original miles on the clock, the 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A does not see a lot of street action. Well, I guess that is the only way to have a 53 years old Mopar and win Survivor awards at car shows. The muscle car is far from perfect, and that’s the charm of it.

I mentioned that Norm does not drive the T/A Challenger very often, but that does not mean he trailers it. That 340 Six Pack needs to stretch its muscle. He gave Lou a ride during the video, so make sure you watch until the end.
