One day, as a motorist named Junrell Fuentes Revilla was passing by Magkagong, a mountain barangay in Sibong, Cebu, he was persistently chased and barked at by Blacky.

In a grassy area near a dumpsite, Junrell found a newborn baby boy wrapped in a brown towel, with a part of his umbilical cord still attached.

The baby had been abandoned, and Blacky’s insistent barking was a desperate plea for help.
