Devin Ekstom, a soldier, was gone for 10 weeks.
His 2-year-old dog, Indus, a mix of Husky, Malamute, and Timber Wolf, hadn’t seen him for that time.
Devin came home for a holiday surprise, and Indus didn’t expect it.

In Northwood, New Hampshire, at Devin’s parents’ house, his wife, Morgan, filmed the special moment.
Indus barked at Devin, thinking he was a stranger. But when he got close and smelled Devin, he knew it was his dad.

Happy and excited, Indus gave Devin lots of kisses and wagged his tail. 10 weeks felt very long for Indus without Devin.
Devin was so happy to see Indus too. He said the love from Indus made him super happy.
