Lucy’s continued existence is a miracle. Lucy, who was saved about three months ago, was discovered at a Bali construction site where many dogs had previously lived but gone missing. When Lucy’s savior caught her eye, she was shocked. The small pup’s nose was tightly wrapped in fishing wire, a sign that she had been taken in for the dog meat trade and was about to be sold and killed for food. Lucy’s hero moved quickly to save her and sent her to the hospital for critical care.

Lucy was discovered with a fishing line wrapped around her snout, badly cutting into it. The unfortunate puppy is thought to have been bound for the disgusting and brutal meat farms.

After the fishing line was cut loose at the vet, Lucy was at last safe, yet she was still in trouble. The doctors gave her a 50/50 chance of surviving because she had the horrible illness parvovirus. An unfortunate dog bound in fishing line was discovered; we saved her and assisted in her healing.Finally, Lucy had reached a safe place. She had not even left the forest yet. The vets determined that she had the deadly parvovirus and gave her a 50/50 chance of survival. After two weeks, Lucy started to show progress and was given the go-ahead to be placed in foster care. For a few days, it was touch and go. She started acting strangely after just one day and tested positive for distemper—as if she hadn’t been through enough before. Despite Lucy’s strength, we didn’t think she would survive. When we found her, she was already reduced to bare bones due to the parvovirus’s destruction of her immune system.

After a lot of effort and numerous sicknesses, Lucy started to recover, but she had no faith in others.

She, though, fought back. She had no appetite, so we syringe-fed her bone broth every few hours and gave her all the attention and care we could. After completing her physical rehabilitation, Lucy was now prepared to start her journey toward emotional restoration. From the moment she was saved, she remained motionless and avoided making eye contact with anyone. She would spend hours hiding in the corner of her kennel, only coming out to use the bathroom. She had no faith in people, thus she must have been through a lot of trauma before we found her.Vets, foster parents, and numerous other people helped Lucy gradually recover from her ordeal. Lucy has made remarkable progress while residing with Prue, the creator of Mission Paws’ible. Although she is still cautious, she is gradually becoming a happy and vivacious little dog. She loves going on zoomies with her paw-fwends and lounging in the sun. Even though she had never done it before, Lucy now jumps up onto the sofa to sleep next to her friends.

Lucy is a good example of how a little perseverance and a lot of love can go a long way. She is searching for her everlasting home and looks forward to a wonderful and happy future. Mission Paws’ible is presently constructing the Healing Center. Lucy’s pet will have a secure place to relax and recover thanks to this facility. Their therapies will include natural raw food, daily hairless hound therapeutic oil massages, animal therapy music, one-on-one human interaction, and lots of sunshine.
