The car I will show you today is a well-preserved survivor: a low-mileage 1970 Dodge Charger 500 SE in stunning condition. I love the second-gen (1968-1970) Chargers, and this one is completely rust-free and has all of its original steel, having been garage-kept its entire life. The car features a luggage rack (a unique sight on a Charger) fitted by the dealer as compensation for a delayed delivery.

The car’s interior has held up well over the past 50 years and looks as good today as it would have in 1969. It still features the original factory floor mats, leather bucket seats, and woodgrain on the dash and console, part of the special edition package. The ‘70 Charger 500 was repainted in its original (and my favorite) Light Gold Metallic in 1996.

Under the hood, this 1970 Dodge Charger 500 is powered by a reliable 290hp version of the 383ci V8 engine, providing plenty of torque and reasonable fuel economy, while the transmission is the original 727 automatic. It is a numbers-matching vehicle in excellent condition.

This stunner has a rare color, original features, and a nice engine, making it a great classic car.
