When you first see a puppy, it seems so adorable and touching. But what happened to the picture of the dog who was always wearing a Christmas sweater was anything but adorable and made people all across the world cry.

Many people get the chance to reflect on wonderful times spent with loved ones and friends as the new year gets underway.

Unfortunately, it did not occur in the case of a pitiful puppy that longed to be adopted but refused to give up hope, still wearing a bright green Christmas jumper three months later.

The puppy’s sad look speaks volumes.

Bobby is a sad-looking little dog with a bad name that was tragically left behind by the family he had grown up with.

His owners left him in a shelter and took their collar and leash with them, leaving him in a dreadful state of distress and confusion.

Volunteers at the Miami-Dade Animal Services Shelter had hope that the enchantment of Christmas would bring Bobby luck despite his traumatic past.

In an effort to find him a home, they dressed him up in a plush green sweater and posted a picture of him online.

He consistently sits in the same area, dejected.

The days passed, Christmas came and went, and despite the fact that Bobby’s picture went viral and lots of people fell in love with his story, no family gave him a loving home.

The furry’s situation provoked a red code in the shelter, placing him at the top of a list that only includes pups who will be sacrificed because his reality was too grim.

Being a rather intelligent tiny dog, Bobby was destroyed by the situation rather than made to feel sorry.

Due to the ignorant greed of humans who couldn’t recognize how special he is, he came to the realization that he was in danger of dying.

It just took one family to decide to back him.

Bobby’s eyes were nearly closed from the pain, and the only color left in him was the hopeful green sweater. He was weak and miserable and unable to move his small head.

But occasionally the Christmas spirit flows too slowly, as was the case with this poor little dog.

Bobby had finally found his long-awaited home when, thankfully, a woman who was interested in adopting him showed up at the shelter!

Another user of the internet commented, “I’m extremely happy for Bobby; it’s incredible that such a lovely woman came to save him; it’s a miracle from heaven, he’s found his home for life. Perhaps his old owners are not allowed to have any more pets.”

Right now, Bobby is jubilant.

All of the puppy’s delight was returned by his new human, who gave him kisses and cuddles that helped him regain faith in people.

He has given his heart once more, and we hope that this time his love will be accepted with gratitude.
