He initially found it difficult to adjust to the changes, but today he lives a full and content life with his owner and the other puppies. His face underwent surgery that made him look like an amphibian and a “grumpy old guy,” as he has been affectionately referred to on social media.

He needs assistance with some things, such as eating, but it’s not a problem because his owner is always there for him. He has trouble getting food into his mouth, and you can’t let him eat too much at once because he will spit it up, according to Liesl, who told Metro. “I have to hand feed everything he eats,” she said.

Both Newt and his siblings suffer facial deformities. Picasso’s face is distorted, while Wacku is missing his snout. “Newt was a great fit for my family of dogs, and we all got along with him right away.
