Husky rescued from 113-degree car now living her best life with new family

Too many instances about dogs left in hot cars are told to us every year. Dogs are incredibly prone to heat stroke, but far too many owners still leave them in hot, cramped cars, which can lead to suffering or even death.

One of the more horrific instances happened last summer when a taped-up husky dog was found in a sweltering car outside a Las Vegas casino.

Happily, though, the dog made it through the ordeal, and today, months later, she’s living her best life.

On July 20, the Bellagio casino parking lot received a report of a 3-month-old husky puppy being confined inside an SUV. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was called to the scene.

The sad dog’s mouth was taped shut, and it was 113 degrees outside. Think about how terrible it must have been for the husky in such intense heat; her life was in considerable danger. Leaving a dog in a car in any temperature may be distressing.

Authorities claim that the dog was left without air conditioning, food, or water for two hours while the owner played video games inside.

The LVMPD was able to effectively remove the dog from the sunroof of the car. The department has provided bodycam footage showing the dog being found salivating and unable to breathe.

Owner Raul Carbajal, 50, was held for willful and deliberate animal abuse.

Even though the situation was distressing, the unfortunate animal’s life quickly got better. Just a few weeks after being rescued, the husky, now known as Duchess, was adopted, according to the Las Vegas-based organization The Animal Foundation!

Duchess has reportedly been having the time of her life since being saved, according to a recent statement from the shelter.

Animal Foundation stated, “She is with a beautiful family who adore her. She adores spending time with her new fur siblings and sneaks into the kids’ bedrooms.

Duchess’ previous owner mistreated and mistreated her, but her new family couldn’t be more different. Duchess has traveled the nation, stopping in Arizona, California, and Nevada.

Duchess is believed to relish the cold and never miss an opportunity to play in the snow after being saved from that scorching hot car.

The Animal Foundation said, “Talk about a happy life.

We’re overjoyed with how nicely things worked out for Duchess because she was saved from a terrible situation and now lives in the most ideal of new homes.

I appreciate you showing this cute dog so much affection. Please let people know about this amazing tale.
