Okey, who had spent the preceding 16 years traveling with his family, passed away in February. With his gorgeous smile and endearing demeanor, he won everyone over even in his final moments.

The video that Okey’s owner recorded before he passed away shows Okey lying in the arms of the young kid while he is surrounded by his family.

Okey responded to his mother even though he didn’t have the same strength he once did, and he nodded happily as she sang him a sweet lullaby.

Moments after the mother thanked him for spending nearly 20 years with their family, Okey took his final breath.

The young child and his family were devastated to see Okey depart permanently, but they understood the situation.

16-year-old Okey had been ill for two years and had even spent time in the hospital during that time.

Okey couldn’t be helped, but there was nothing that could be done.

The elderly dog was then returned home by his family so that he may spend his final days with the people he loved the most.
